When your situation calls for light to medium duty conveying of small packages or close roller centers, the Spectra Tech Belt Driven Live Roller Conveyor(s) (BDLR) should be specified. Ideally suited for packages as small as 5″ long. Individual conveyor or as part of a conveyor system Spectra Tech straight and curved BDLR conveyors will solve your package handling problems.

Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors (CDLRs) are great for handling heavy product with smooth bottom or on pallets. CDLR’s are used for warehouse operations that handle steel sheet or structural shapes and using pallets or skids. This is a very versatile conveying unit for package handling, accumulation, and automobile tire handling systems. CDLR will handle large castings, forgings, parts with flat or smooth bottoms, and pallet transfer systems. Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors are also available with Motorized Rollers.

Incline Conveyor Model 204

The Model 204 is a light-duty floor-to-floor unit designed for lighter loads and shorter lengths. The 4″ diameter drive pulley will handle numerous products on the incline belt with an end drive or optional center drive and take-up for reversing applications.

The steel belt conveyor is the most versatile of conveyors, it can be used to handle nearly every kind of part and all types of scrap. Other common names for these conveyors are Piano Hinge Conveyors, Hinged Belt Conveyors and Hinged Slat Conveyors. Most applications involve handling metal, with the material often dropping with an impact that other conveyors could not withstand. Two-and-one-half pitch models handle most applications. Often, four and six inch pitch steel belt conveyors are needed for larger scrap, castings, forgings and any applications with heavy loads or long runs. 

Spectra Tech introduces the Motorized Roller Conveyor, a modular conveyor system utilizing a 24 volt DC drive within a roller. Adjacent rollers are powered from it using either chains, timing belts or O-belts. Motorized roller systems are perfect for large zone controlled systems in assembly lines, warehouse situations or unit handling of pallets, totes and cases.  Loads up to 3,900 lbs. can be moved with these clean and efficient motorized roller systems.

How does a gravity roller conveyor work?

A gravity conveyor moves the load without utilizing motor power sources, usually down an incline or through a person pushing the load along flat conveyor rollers. Gravity roller conveyors transport products or work in process from one work area to another. Spectra Tech gravity conveyors are a low-cost and ergonomic way to move materials.

Spectra Tech Cooling & Drying Conveyor significantly increases efficiencies in die casting. It eliminates mist in cooling hot die castings, and it replaces water quench and reduces cool down time. It’s designed to interface with existing conveyor systems and is custom engineered from standard components. Both constant speed and variable speed are available.

Spectra Tech Conveyors offers roller bed belt conveyors when the loads are heavier than usual or when much longer lengths are required than a standard slider bed belt conveyor can handle.

Spectra Tech custom steel belt conveyors are offered in low and full profiles. They are ideal for a variety of light and heavy duty applications, including machine tool and chip-handling environments, die casting operation, stamping operations, whole plant chip and scrap removal systems, inspection, parts handling and package operation. Segmented belts are available for part and scrap handling at the same time. We offer three types of steel belt conveyors.

When your plant layout requires a directional change in the smallest possible space of your conveyor system, you should consider using a Spectra Tech Powered Turntable. The turntable conveyor can be used for product sortation, accumulation as well as directional changes. The Spectra Tech Turntable is available in sizes ranging from 2′ diameter to 12′ diameter. The standard table top is 7 gauge construction with angle iron supports. The top is driven by either chain and sprockets or air operated cylinder. The unit is furnished with expanded metal guards on all four sides. The unit can be supplied with chain and sprocket drive, air operated for 90 degrees rotation or no drive for manual indexing. Tops can be fitted with gravity roller or chain driven live roller conveyor to suit your application.

Depending on loads and installation, Spectra Tech offers two models with a variety of wire mesh configurations and three different bed materials – UHWM plastic, roller or wear strip slider.
